7. HOW TO: Import a full DVD to your Lesson Viewer
Introduction
It is possible to copy an entire DVD of Lessons into your Lesson Viewer using the import function. This is useful if you have Lessons on multiple DVDs and wish to consolidate them on a single computer or USB hard drive.
Please note that, due to the quantity of resources stored on a DVD, this process can take some time. It is recommended that you allow around an hour for this process to complete.
1) Install the Lesson Viewer
If you haven't already done so, you will need to copy the Lesson Viewer to your computer's hard drive or a USB drive before you can import additional Lessons. Follow this tutorial for instructions on installing the Lesson Viewer.
2) Open Import menu
Open the Lesson Viewer and log in as normal. Click the "import" button at the top right of the screen to open the Import menu.
3) Import DVD
Select "Import from DVD/Folder" to open the import dialog. Select your DVD drive and click "OK". This will begin the import process. Please ensure that you do not eject the CD or switch off power to your computer during this time.
When the process is complete the import window will close and the Lesson Viewer will return to the Home screen. Any Lessons which you have imported will be accessible from this screen. You can repeat this process with multiple Charanga eLearning DVDs in order to store all your Lessons in one place.
